The Bow Cornice Kit for your Windows allows you to produce a lightweight all wood Cornice Frame that is either 16 inches (40.6cm) high or 12 inches high (30.5cm) depending on which Kit you choose. The Bow Cornice Kit is made exclusively to top windows where the window treatment is mounted inside the window frame. The unique design of the Kit makes the Cornice Frame strong and stable and able to be recovered multiple times. The materials used are the same dimension as the professionals use so the finish Cornice looks as if it was produced by a professional. All you need to supply is the Batting (that can be purchased with the Kit) and Fabric of your choice.



First Choose the Height of Cornice
The Bow Cornice Kit comes in a
16 inch and a 12 inch height.



The 16 inch high Bow Cornice is a grand dramatic statement and is best use in Homes with high ceiling and in formal rooms as the living, dining and great room.


The 12 inch high Bow Cornice make a dramatic statement in homes with standard 8 foot ceiling and less formal rooms like the master and guest bedrooms.

The Bow Cornice Kit will fit any window from 88 inches wide to 56 inches wide. The Bow Cornice is made to only top windows where the window treatment is hung inside the window frame. As the window width becomes smaller and the Cornice Frame is sized down to the window measurement the curve projection of the Cornice lessens. Starting at 6 inches with a Cornice width of 95 inches and a window width of 88 inches the projection out from the wall is 6 inches. Sizing the Bow Cornice Frame all the way down to 63 inches with a window width of 56 inches the curve projection from the wall is 2 inches.
