Located between Akron and Youngstown Ohio just off of RT 76 and minutes from Kent State University and not far from Cleveland OH. Portage County has over 1,500 youth involved with equestrian programs and has the 4th largest youth programs in the nation. This area has also cultivated some of the finest equestrians and equestrian related businesses worldwide, and mostly dominated by women. It is no secret there is a special bond between a horse and a little girl all the way up to a mature women well into her 80. Another important fact is Ohio has the fourth-highest breast cancer mortality rate in the country. A county dominated by future equestrians and a county that raising awareness as Ohio patients have access to some of the nations best hospitals.

About the Show Horses:
Top show horses competing are best of the best and will be going head to head for the Championship Tricolor neck ribbon, and the unique Pink bridle ribbon adorned with champion blue and trimmed in pink, an indication you are a champion. Many breeds will stepping up to the challenge including the American Saddlebred know as the Peacock of the show ring. Other breeds to strut their show horse ways will be the exquisite Arabian, the Hackney, Morgans, Friesians and many others which will be competing in many different disciplines. What a great experience to see all of these high caliber show horses all in one venue, all there to ride for the cure.
