THE MENOpause weight control plan





If you are reading this, you probably already know all about the weight-related struggles that come with perimenopause and menopause and it’s just not fair. I mean, this time brings enough issues as it is, right? Well there are reasons perimenopause and menopause can wreak havoc on your body and impact your weight and they primarily have to do with estrogen and insulin. You see, estrogen actually sensitizes your body to insulin so when estrogen levels are normal, your body doesn’t need to release much insulin. However, perimenopause causes fluctuating estrogen levels and menopause causes a major decrease is estrogen. So, when these estrogen levels drop, your insulin levels rise, and that triggers your body to start storing fat! All of these changes around estrogen essential create a decrease in carbohydrate tolerate (carbs are the primarily component that cause your body to release insulin). In addition, this creates an increase in stress hormones (something else that triggers your body to store fat) AND a result of this is an increase in cravings! I’m sure you can see how damaging that trifecta can be! So, the solution is about eating, exercising, and managing yourself in and your body in a way that addresses your insulin, your cravings AND your stress! And that’s exactly what this program is!

For many with PCOS, weight has been an ongoing struggle. You have significantly more obstacles in this area than the average person and it just doesn’t seem fair! Well you are right. It is NOT fair!
