The "Itinerant Painter" is a stunningly photographed retrospective of Virginia Jacobs McLaughlin 's career as an historic muralist. The 112 page, hard bound book chronicles her home, student and family life, and the stunning career that spanned more than 30 years and produced over 120 murals in public spaces and private homes in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
Not only is her body of work inspiring, but her determination, artistic creativity, and endearing spirit are widely acknowledged and admired.
