Calumet College of St. Joseph, is an independent co-educational, liberal arts institution, fully accredited by CAEP, (formerly NCATE) of Washington, DC. and also the Higher Learning Commission, a member of the North Central Association. CCSJ is accredited to offer master's, baccalaureate and associate's degrees, certificates, and diplomas by the Higher Learning Commission, a member of North Central Association** (NCA) 30 N. The college has been approved by the Indiana Professional Standards Board for the training of elementary and secondary teachers and holds membership in a number of state, regional and national educational and professional associations including the Independent College of Indiana, The Indiana Conference of Higher Education, and the National Catholic Educational Association.
Colorado State University-Pueblo is a regional comprehensive university offering 29 baccalaureate and six master degree programs serving students from all 50 states and 23 countries. Fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a member of the North Central Association. Dominican University-Illinois founded in 1901, on a 37 acre wooded campus in suburban River Forest, Illinois and just 10 miles west of downtown Chicago. Courses taken through Dominican University (DU) provide three graduate level credits per course. Currently, you may take any online or distance course through DU. An official university transcript is available upon completion of these courses. Dominican University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), a Commission of the North Central Association (NCA) of Colleges and Schools. It is also accredited by CAEP formerly NCATE and the Illinois State Board of Education and the Teacher Education Accreditation Council. The North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), also known as North Central, is one of six regional accreditation organizations recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Founded in 1895, the NCA accredits over 10,000 public and private educational institutions.
Students who will be receiving graduate credits from our partnering universities can do so in knowing that they are both excellent institutions for elementary and secondary teacher training, and are accredited and accepted by thousands of school districts everywhere. You can choose which university you would like to receive your transcripts from when you register for a course.
MTI has partnered with these universities to issue (3) graduate level credits per each course completed with a grade of B or higher. Before you take a class, please make sure with your school district that the credits will be accepted towards salary enhancement and professional development.
